Second round! I wanted to begin by thanking everyone who made the previous campaign a successful one (https://www.gofundme.com/2r4nddnz). Four families received funds which to me was an absolute success. I am truly grateful for that and because of the fact we all were able to make a difference, I am hopeful and optimistic to do this one more time. The potential and energy from everyone the first time around was truly heartfelt and amazing! My hopes are to raise funds for poor families in the north east area of Philly one more time, for refugees and non-refugees, to help them experience some joy this Eid (festivities we observe and celebrate after completing the month of fasting).
I am Aziz Jalil and I live in north east Philadelphia. There are, unfortunately, many poor families that are local to us and are struggling to make it by day by day. It is our duty and their right upon us that we help with whatever capacity we have. Once again, all funds collected will go directly to personally known families in need and I will cover whatever GoFundMe fees and deductions.
Let's put hand in hand once again and help make them enjoy this Eid. Let us be the reason for a smile on a little kid's face. Donate with whatever capacity you can. Know that in these blessed days and nights, rewards are magnified to no limit.
