Help Marty Help Refugees in Greece

I am trying to raise funds to help me travel to Greece to assist refugees currently being held in refugee camps. I will be volunteering to help provide free legal aid to asylum-seekers and torture survivors entitled to international protection.
Funds will be used to cover my living expenses including room and board, travel, internet and cellphone and other related expenses.
Most folks don't know that I went to law school to focus on international human rights work after 25 years of working on international humanitarian law on a grassroots level. I am planning on going to Greece, probably on the island of Lesbos, for the month of August.
The need for legal assistance is overwhelming. In 2015, almost 1 million refugees and immigrants reached the Greek islands from Turkey. The majority fled war, violence or persecution in Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan, and need international protection. The current ratio of attorneys to refugees is around 1 to 5,000.
Some of the most serious humanitarian concerns highlighted by the UNHCR are child protection and the safety of unaccompanied minors; trafficking of women and children; lack of capacity in identifying, protecting and representing asylum-seekers and torture survivors; and inhumane living conditions for refugees and migrants in camps and detention centers. It is also necessary to provide effective reception and asylum procedures.
Over 35% of refugees arriving in Greece are children, many of them separated from their families or unaccompanied. Volunteer attorneys have initiated family reunification cases; facilitated legal guardianship cases, etc. while acting on behalf of the Public Prosecutors (including the Public Prosecutor for minors) who are appointed by law as temporary guardians and accompany children in transit so they are not trafficked or harmed.
Please help me help these vulnerable refugees. Both they and I would be very grateful. I would like to have the funds by the end of July.
