UPDATE 3! 3/4, 3pm EST: Rebecca got a second estimate, and feels she now has just enough to cover both the costs of the repair and the rental fees. THANK YOU so much to our donors, your willingness to help a friend is incredible. Social workers work so hard to support others and it can be thankless at times. So again, y’all are amazing and from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
UPDATE 3! 3/1, 9pm EST: Rebecca’s estimate is in y’all. $2,400 for the repair plus the need for a rental car for two whole weeks! So... I’m upping the ante to $3,000. UPDATE 2! 2/28, 11am EST: Rebecca must be really special to a whole lot of people, because some of you reached out to me (Fallon) privately after my last update wanting to donate, even though I had disabled the fundraiser while Rebecca gets her car estimate. It speaks volumes of your generosity. Thank you so much for helping a friend, we could all use more people in our lives like you.

Rebecca’s transmission has gone KAPUT! I know her friends would love to help out. Rebecca gives so much of herself to others especially in her role as a social worker. She needs her car to travel between clients doing the sacred work of supporting those who are dying. Let’s get this amazing soul back on the road
