Donazione protetta
We are Mike and Cherish Carpenter.
We are raising money for our son Joshua Carpenter AKA Josh :) Here is his story.
It is his wish that we raise awareness through his story, and we would like to raise some money to help him through this time in his life. Josh was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at17 and later rediagnosed as Manic Depressive/Bipolar.
Josh has had two major "breaks", one when he was 17, that took him two years to conquor and overcome with the help of EASA. He was a front page article in the Oregonian. We have attached the link if you want to read more about Josh and the program EASA that helped us so much the first time around. Josh has gone 6 years without medication, completed college courses and held a full time job and has given his time and knowledge to his community and to help those in similar circumstances.

Josh is now 24 and he is going through is second "break". He is recovering rapidly, thanks to his girlfriend who recognized there was a problem, and to their friends for getting him to the ER at Legacy Emmanual, who gave him the exact right medication to bring him back, and thanks to the psych ward at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland where he spent a week, that listened to us and gave him the medication that we know works, and thanks to "GOD" or "The Universe" or "Spirit" or whatever or whoever it is that arranged for us to be in Portland at exactly the right time.
We are asking that you please send a donation of any size to help him get back on his feet, as he will be without work for the next 30 to 90 days.
We have already gotten a head start from some contributions from us and our immediate family.
We hope that you will join us in giving to such a wonderful person that has lived his life giving to others.
