Hi all you may remember that my beautiful niece and  our family went through the  heartbreaking journey with "baby oaklyn"  ventricle heart defectjust before Christmas, we are pleased Oaky is now in progress of recovering. 

However can't believe another setback has happened for this family,  they have just had a tragic house fire, starting in kitchen  which fire brigade has said the likely cause being the  rangehood exploding  and has caused extensive damage to this families rental property.  We are so thankful Rebecca was out with family doing the  school run.   

Due to the health condition of Oaklyn and scaring on his  airways and thier other son having severe asthma and bronchitis this  family now needs to  relocate and purchase new contents due to smoke and ash damage. 

They were not insured for this and we are all devastated that this has happened to Rebecca, MaKenzie,  Ryder and Oaklyn as they were getting back into a routine and trying to get Oaklyn back to full health. 

This platform was so fantastic last time when we needed support in an emergency situation and we are hoping that this forum will once again be thier saving grace.   

Fair enough to say at present the family are still in shock.  Bec and kids are currently staying with her mum and dad, all in one room, however they have the possibility of getting a house next week but will need help covering expenses like one month's bond,  food,  kitchen items and new bedding furniture for kids and all the  set up costs as any damaged smoke items they cant take with them due to  medical advise regarding  little Oaklyns recovery  process with his heart condition and scarring of his airways.
