Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, My name is Ashlee Davidson. I'm reaching out in hopes of helping a single mom of 3 finally get through a legal battle that she has been fighting on her own for over 3 years. She is the most passionately loving mother one could have the pleasure of knowing and is navigating an incredibly challenging 3 year-long divorce and custody battle with an abusive ex husband. Throughout this long and painful process, she has faced unimaginable emotional, mental, physical, and financial hardship. Yet, through it all, she has remained determined to protect her children and create a safe, stable future for them. I've never seen someone work harder than her to provide for and protect her children COMPLETELY on her own, with ZERO financial support from her children's father for three years, and all with a positive spirit and steadfast faith in God. Sadly, the divorce and custody battle has been anything but easy. She has had to deal with ongoing emotional and legal battles, complicated by the controlling and abusive behavior of her ex, and the strain it places on her mental and physical well-being. Despite her immense strength, she is struggling to keep up with mounting legal fees, on top of solely taking care of the everyday expenses of providing for her children. After three long, extremely difficult years, their case is finally set to have a final hearing at the end of this week, and her attorney has hit her with more legal fees that she doesn't have the finances for. She has been told her case would be dropped if she can't come up with the fees by September 23rd.

As a mother who has ALWAYS put her children first, she deserves the chance to heal, to regain her strength, and to move forward into a brighter future for her family. We hope to ease her burden by raising funds to cover her final legal costs so that she and her children can finally put an end to this difficult era and begin anew. I assure you, this mother has never done anything but go above and beyond to help ensure the children still had a positive relationship with and perception of their father, even when he has done the opposite by consistently putting her down to her children and failing to help them at all financially, mentally, or physically. I've never seen someone handle such tremendous difficulty and quite frankly injustice, with such dignity, grace, and faith.

Every dollar contributed will go directly to the final legal fees for this case to end this long battle and give this precious family a fresh start.
