CARR fire for Steven Foster family
Donation protected
My son his wife Misty and 4 children have lost everything in French Gulch. The Carr fire has leveled their house that has been in his deceased fathers (Tom Foster) family for generations. My son and his wife lost everything of their Great grandparents, grandfather, her grandmothers, fathers and brothers memorabilia. Being that he is the last living male heir it is a great devastation to lose all of the family history.
His brother who was 32 got murdered 4 years ago and my son and his wife took in his 2 kids and has been raising them along with his own since and had tried to save his brothers things to pass on to the kids and now it is all gone. Such a blow to have the last memory’s of your family ripped from you in such a way as a fire.
My son and his wife also takes care of his great aunt whom lives in Redding. They have not been able to get to her and is worried. She is 94 years of age and needs their help. They were going to Redding everyday to take care of her and to do whatever they could to make her comfortable in her own home where she wants to remain for the rest of her days. She was evacuated for days and they didn’t know if she was going to have a home to go to when all is done.
My son, his wife and children still can’t get in to French Gulch to see if there is anything at all salvageable in the ash. It is still on fire and remains evacuated. As far as they knows their cow is still alive and she needs to be feed because the pasture burned so she has nothing to eat. They are unable to get to his aunt right now because they have closed the roads to French Gulch and 299 to get into Redding. They had to go west towards Trinity County which is now on fire as well.
Please any help and donations would be very helpful to help them to start their life over for him, his wife and the four kids. They only had 1/2 hour to evacuate and only have the clothes on their backs. They only had time to grab what animals they could and hitch up the Jeep and take off. They lost their chickens, rabbets a pet snake and what cats they could not find. They are heart broken and just feel lost.
My son is a carpenter and he lost all of his tools to do his job. I can’t imagine what they must be feeling. We know they aren’t the only one going through this but we really need the help of generous people like you to help them and help the kids With Their loss. They have no clothes, no toys no home no anything anymore. No memory’s of their dad only stories that we can share as a family.
Please I am begging for help for my Son, his wife and the children at this time of desperation and need. At least some dollars so they can put a roof over their heads and food in their mouth, clothes on their backs and give the kids back a life of just being kids. 2 of the kids just had their birthday and the fire took that away from them. They also need to get to Redding to check on their aunt. I am begging everyone for help.
thank you so much and God bless the family’s out there that have a generous heart and can give.
These are some photos of the house that once was and of the kids and my son and his wife. Please share this with everyone you know that could possibly help. Thank you to all of you
