FOOD TRUCK

Donation protected
Currently these young people are feeding the homeless, elderly and the hungry from a roofless gazebo in the heart of Beckley.  Regardless of the weather they are there.  On January 18, 2021 it was 29 degrees and they fed.  The gazebo had at least 4" of snow which was brushed off with a car windshield brush in order for them to set up.  Fortunately it wasn't snowing or raining.  The food has to be transported from Oak Hill to Beckley and then set up.  The young lady managing this operation has 3 children, is a caretaker for two elderly parents, feeds the hungry, without fail, and then works a full time job at night.  Providing them a food truck will allow her the ability to manage her life much better.  She is a certified chef, therefore, she will be able to use the truck as a business and a mobile food truck for the homeless.  Because no one will allow her to set up in their store front and no one wants the homeless in the heart of town, she can set up in a location that will be conducive for all involved and manage her home life according to her schedule.  This operation will allow Beckley to have a local food truck providing support for her family and support for the homeless.

2 Corinthians 9:7.  You should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or our of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly.
