Assalaamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

As a family, we wanted to reach out to all those who have generously supported us over these challenging few months. Losing our beautiful son Ayaan so suddenly at the young age of 13 was a tremendous shock for us. Our lives have been altered forever and we still wake up every morning with a broken heart and the feeling of intense grief and sorrow for losing someone so valuable and irreplaceable. 

The loss has left us broken yet it still feels surreal; it is not something any parent could ever prepare for, nor is it something you can ever forget. It stays embedded within us and we learn to accept it because it is from Allah and he knows what we do not. As Muslims, we are fortunate to be promised the best reward for our patience.

Without the support of our loved ones and you all, we don’t think we could have come this far. Thank you all for your continued support and generosity. 

Like all parents, we want to leave something special for our children. Anyone who knew Ayaan will understand what a unique and special individual he was, and how attached to our beautiful deen he was.
Ayaan, just like the meaning of his beautiful name, he truly was  ‘A gift from Allah SWT’.

In memory of our special boy we wanted to do something that would not only remind us of his beautiful soul and kind nature but something that will benefit many for years and years to come In-Shaa-Allah.

With Allah’s Mercy and blessings, we have been able to donate land that belonged to our late father and late uncle to build a much needed public community mosque In Bangladesh, Syhelt. We will name it 'Ayaan Jamia Masjid' in memory of our prince. 

Why a masjid?
A masjid is at the heart of every Muslim community, a place where the knowledge of Islam will be shared, spread and learned for years to come. It will also provide a safe place and environment for the worshipers to pray and contemplate.

Ayaan Jamia Masjid project will In-Shaa-Allah provide approximately 200 spaces for prayer, as well as Islamic/Arabic coaching classes for children.

Please join us on this journey towards building a masjid by donating towards this cause. No amount is too little and every donation will help us towards making this dream come true and to benefit a large community and many poor areas. 

Building a  Masjid is one of the best forms of continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah).
