Fridges for Freezing Hunger at Urban Ministries

The mission of Urban Ministries of Wake County, Inc. is to engage the Raleigh community and advocate on behalf of those affected by poverty by providing food and nutrition, promoting health and wellness, and by laying the foundations of home. 

NC State University's Park Scholarships Class of 2020 is focusing specifically on the food pantry program at Urban Ministries. This pantry provides food to the disadvantaged community in Wake County free of charge. We have committed to raising the funds to purchase three grocery-store style freezers and two refrigerators. Any money raised in excess of these costs will be redirected towards any of the numerous needs of the charitable food pantry.
