Kurt Pierzchalski was our love and leader in life . He was paving a way to stability and security for our family by purchasing a home on 18th and walnut, the inner city of Milwaukee. "Be the change" was one of our many mantras. He and I created a 40 yard long + garden, and soon chickens were to come. The goal : urban farming, family, change the neighborhoods one block at a time.

On Wendesday morning, June 8th, Kurt was found dead in the street in front his home that he was still renovating. He was shot in the back twice.  Now his memory lives through our 6 month old daughter Penelope 'Kaia' Pierzchalski. His first and only child. His biggest dream of all was her.

I feel helpless. The hard times have yet to sink in. This fund is just a base for us. As I have not a clue what to do next as originally it was to move in. Now a single mother I'm unsure of its safety. 

If you have the means to support, I ask you to please donate what you can for our beautiful little girl.  All funds will go directly into Penelope's mom (Sarah's) account. Our goal is $60,000, 10k for each month Kurt spent with Penolope. 

I will use the funds to finish the renovations Kurt started with the house, start a college fund for Penelope and to help raise her to be the confident little lady he hoped for.
