Help Sarah And Don’s Baby LUCY!

Update on Lucy!
A lot has happened to little Lucy Ebanks recently. After waiting for 9 weeks she was finally strong enough to have her third surgery to reconnect her intestines. The surgery went well but she has quite a long road ahead of her for recovery and to finally learn to eat!
The doctors are telling Don and Sarah to expect Lucy to be in the hospital quite a few more months. Of course this has been challenging to be away from home for so long. But at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Don and Sarah are so appreciative of all the generous donations they have received from family, friends and strangers! They want everyone to know that it has been a lifesaver to have these donated funds at their disposal for the hotel and travel expenses. People are still donating and we all want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! Any money left over when Lucy goes home will be used for future surgeries, if needed, and future hotel stays.

Meet Lucy Aleece Ebanks. She is the beautiful new daughter born to Don and Sarah Ebanks. Don and Sarah knew very early on that Lucy would be born with a birth defect. It is called Gastroschisis where in the intestines extend outside of the body through a hole next to the belly button. Lucy has already had one surgery (on the day she was born!) but will need at least one more in the near future. Thankfully she has a great team of specialists working around the clock to help her. Unfortunately they are in Santa Barbara which is a 3 hour drive from their home. During Lucy’s stay in the hospital the family will be traveling back-and-forth to see her. If you would like to donate towards their travel expenses, it would be appreciated very much! Santa Barbara hospital has living quarters available as an option to the family, but that is not an option for long term. Short term it has been a hardship to pay for Hotel and travel expenses. The family appreciates any donations you might like to offer… But any prayers and well wishes are appreciated as well. It has been a real challenge for this little family but Lucy is strong ......and adorable! Please help Don and Sarah as they stay close to Lucy in the hospital. They look forward to being able to hold her for the first time!
