I want to first and foremost thank anyone and everyone who liked, looked shared and even donated to my cause. This has been very hard for me to accept, that my will power alone will not get us through this. my son has been in and out of hospitals from the moment he was born. He was born May 5th 2018, 13 weeks early at 2 lbs. He is on oxygen 24/7 has chronic lung and heart disease. He also had what was called a VSD, which is a hole in between his 2 lower chambers. I had a perfectly normal pregnancy until one unfortunate day I was in labor. The doctors tried to hold him off for as long as possible 3 days later he was born. During his stay, we ended up losing our home, due to me not working and Michael having the burden of trying to keep up with everything and make the 1.5 hr drive to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga TN from Winchester TN. He did not leave the hospital till he was 3 months old and still on oxygen. I unfortunately had to give up the idea of a job due to his needs and no daycare will take him due to all his needs. We moved on July 23rd, his release date. from Tennessee where he was born to Minnesota to be near children's hospital, mayo clinic and our family. His doctors are at children's hospital in Minneapolis Minnesota. Which is an hour drive away one way from Monticello MN. On top of us having to relocate for our son's health. We have had to put a 1,000 into the car because it didn't almost make the trip up here. The car still has a lot of problems including a miss fire, 2 bald tires and no heat. In august little man could not hold is oxygen steady even though he was on oxygen. He was rushed to children's and ended up staying there for 2 weeks. That ended up costing me another 2,000 dollars. On Dec 4th liam had open heart surgery to close his VSD, which was a wonderful success. The bills are starting to add up and between driving an hour to his doctors appointments there and back. I am falling deeper into the hole of debt. His surgery cost alone on my end is 54,000, let alone all the other times he had to be at the hospital or doctors visits. Which my pay is about 125 each visit out of the 400 because they are specialists and that's not even including if they have to do a: ekg, ultrasound or xray. He has to do a check with cardiology and respiratory doctor twice a month. Please if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Every dollar helps no amount is to small.
