‌Buttevant GAA club and Buttevant AFC Soccer Club were due to play our Annual Charity Soccer Match this St. Stephen’s Day. The match this year was to be played for The Noel Fowley Memorial Cup in memory of a community member who will be dearly missed by both clubs. The match was also set to raise funds for the local St Vincent De Paul, an organisation who are doing incredible work to assist the most vulnerable in our community during these trying times. We have decided to postpone this event until later in the year in line with recent government guidelines to protect those in our community. However we ask that anyone who is in position to donate would still consider doing so and help us stand strong as a community to support those around us may need a little help facing in to the new year.
