Completing an Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) has long been on my bucket list. After hearing my friend and former Iona College rugby teammate Pat Quinn speak about his four-year battle with ALS at the Iona Gala in April, I decided to turn my 140.6 mile journey into a fundraising opportunity for Quinn for the Win. On July 24th, I'll be doing the Lake Placid Ironman in a custom made triathlon suit with the Q4TW and Iona College logos.
