First off, thank you for looking and donating. I’m grateful to anyone who even considers to donate to my situation. After years of keeping the peace between my ex and I, there no longer seems to be a reason to. Long story short, I need $2500 for a retainer for a family lawyer. I’m fighting to just keep my house, never mind a family lawyer to help me get child support. You make sacrifices when you get divorced, and you suffer even more when your income is significantly less. I’m not starving, kids are happy, but I’m losing ground silently while my kids notice my stress. Anyway, I hit the ground running after finding myself replaced by a high school ex boyfriend that I guess is a better employee than I was. I maintained zero conflict while helping my baby girls adjust to divorced life etc. It’s been 8 years since the official divorce. I did everything right so my babies weren’t exposed to anything negative; but now, I could use some help and I’m asking for nothing more than what the law provides for the kids. Wish me luck.
