Greetings friends! I am fundraising for my trip the 2016 Democratic National Convention as a National Delegate for Hillary Clinton! I am beyond proud and ecstatic to be able to participate in this experience for my fellow Wyoming Democratic Hillary supporters.
Some of you may know that I work at a Jackson-based non-profit, and that my wife Rosie and I have a combined student loan debt of over $ 200,000. We paid for both our under grad, and grad studies ourselves.....hence the ungodly sums we owe for our education. Rosie is an immigration attorney, working primarily for low-income folks in and around Jackson. The truth is, if I don't raise these funds, it will be difficult for me to attend the convention.
All money raised in this campaign will be used exclusively for travel, food, the hotel, and to cover any other nominal expenses that may arise for the purpose of attending the 2016 DNC! I need to raise the money within the next month in order to secure my plane tickets and accommodations. The convention is the last week of July.
I will represent what is important to Wyoming Democrats and also offer a unique perspective as a black, female, LGBT, youth from this amazing state. Attending this convention is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I cannot let this chance to attend pass me by!
