If you’ve walked through the Marina District in San Francisco, chances are you’ve seen Robert — rain or shine, he’s out there with a broom and a smile, quietly picking up trash and making our neighborhood cleaner, safer, and more beautiful.

Robert spends hours every single day cleaning up the streets of Cow Hollow and the Marina— not because he’s paid to, but because he cares. He does it with no expectation of anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to show him the love and support he deserves.

Robert rarely asks for anything. He’s humble, soft-spoken, and gives so much to the community without asking for anything in return. Now, he’s hoping for a little support to help make a very meaningful trip: a visit home to Chicago to reconnect with family he hasn’t seen in 27 years, and touch base with the place he still calls home in his heart.
