In October 2025 we lost my partner Miles to cancer. Miles was kind, funny, talented, courageous and the most loving person I’ve ever known. His loss is such a devastating loss to this world.

My sister Charlotte and I have decided to raise funds for the Miles Kent Forever Foundation by hiking 27 miles for Miles along the Jurassic Coastline in May 2026. In classic rock n roll fashion, Miles passed away at the age of 27 so we will hike each Mile for each year of his life. Miles loved his walks in nature and loved being around the ocean so it only seemed fitting to do something that I know we would have loved doing together.

Miles was a talented musician, songwriter, producer and touring guitar technician. He was so passionate and so proud of his music and his job. He always used to say he was the luckiest man alive to do the job he did.

His wonderful family have set up a foundation called the Miles Kent Forever Foundation in his honour, one that will help young people have access to guitar lessons and the same opportunities that Miles had that led him to have such a wonderful career as well as donating to further research into Miles’ specific cancer.

The foundation is split between two causes:

'The Christie Charity' - A cancer charity, helping to support the development of cancer prevention, treatment, research and education through investment in staff, equipment facilities and other support services.

A local music initiative in Miles’ name, which will provide opportunities for young people to access instruments, lessons, and creative spaces — empowering the next generation of musicians just as Miles dreamed.

All funds from our fundraiser will go to the Miles Kent Forever Foundation.
