Chad’s Road to Redemption

After a 12 year journey in the prison system, Chad Mattson is finally approved and awaiting transfer to the work release program. He will be transported to the Pensacola center, which will involve a major transition back into society, from over a decade in high security incarceration. He will be obtaining employment, workingin the community based on his schedule. He will be required to stay (and live) in the center, during non working hours. These conditions will remain in effect throughout the remainder of his incarceration (11/14/22).

Home visitations are also on the horizon, permitting him to be picked up, and allowed to go home for a specified block of time, providing an opportunity to visit with family and friends, for the first time (at home) in twelve years. He has incredible gratitude for the support that so many of you have given, during these most difficult and trying years of his life. This will be a complete restart...from scratch, while he works to slowly rebuild his life, and reestablish himself, after an arduous period away from society.

We have supported Chad, especially for the manner in which he has chosen to serve his time. We are asking all of you, to please, help assist Chad in his successful return home! He spent his sentence making the ultimate example of himself...focusing on reaching the highschool age demographic, in hope of impacting these young lives, and opening their eyes to the dangers, and dire consequences of impaired driving. He taught himself how to write with purpose..sharing his testimony in nearly every major newspaper op-editorial in the state of Florida. His message is clear and powerful...'don't let your life end up like his'...don't become another Chad Mattson.

He created the 'l Chose' pledge, providing an unbelievable opportunity to encourage everyone to make a commitment, that could not only save their life, but the lives of many others. His mission has only just begun, as he has aspirations to speak at every high-school in the surrounding area.

Friends, family, and supporters...We are asking you now, to come together, and give Chad a hand, as he begins this next chapter in his life, and prepares to make an impact...turning the worst decision he ever made, into a force for good....that will make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
