Hi, my name is Mahaliyah, and I am fundraising for my Aunt Natawsha. Theo, my aunt's son, was born with esophageal atresia; therefore, he was unable to eat. He underwent surgery four days after he was born to connect his esophagus to his stomach. He then developed esophagitis from his severe acid reflux. The reflux makes it difficult for him to eat at times and causes heart decelerations. He spent a total of 35 days in the NICU, and Baby Theo was released from the hospital on June 16th. He is now home with my Aunt, and with his current complications, he needs to be closely monitored, meaning my Aunt cannot currently work. My Aunt is a single mother of five, and she would do anything for anyone, especially her family. I’m hoping that with GoFundMe, we can raise enough to take a little bit off of her plate.
