Introduction

I'm excited to share a journey that combines my passion for running with a cause I believe in. As I train for the upcoming New York City Marathon this November 5, 2023, I'm raising awareness and funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC (BBBS of NYC). Everyone who donates will be invited to add a song to the marathon playlist and receive a link to the crowdsourced tunes, including bonus tracks shared by BBBS of NYC mentees!

Why BBBS of NYC

Because mentorship matters. BBBS of NYC has developed and managed mentorship programs since 1904, connecting youth living in every borough to impactful mentors. Its mission is backed by science. Did you know? Participation in mentorship programs has a significant impact on educational achievement; urban youth who have a mentor are 52% less likely to skip a day of school and are more likely to pursue higher education.
