Hey everybody, on May 16th we will be walking a marathon to raise money for our local food banks in the Capital Area. Like in many towns and cities across the world, people are struggling more than ever to make ends meet and although staying home is our top priority, we think that we could all do just a bit more to help our neighbors out. If your tummy is full, please consider donating to our GoFundMe account- any amount would be hugely appreciated and will go straight to The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Our fundraising goal is $750, so donate if you can, or at least give this a share to spread the word!
Shout out to Megan Sweet, our “social media director”, who will be keeping everyone updated with some golden content. We will keep the GoFundMe open throughout the marathon for live donation-dares (i.e. 20$ for each piece of pizza Melyssa scarfs down in the next 10 min., 100$ if Alex jumps in the next body of water you pass, 50$ if you moon the next car that goes by, etc.)... be creative, it will be fun.
Lastly, if you would like to get in on the fun (from an appropriate distance, of course), let us know and you can jump in for a few miles or all 26.2 of them!
