New Car for Pfennings

Brothers and Sisters, we have a member of our community that needs our help. Lisa Pfenning and her husband Mark, have made it their life-long ministry to give themselves completely to raising the “Z Team”: Zoe, Zachariah, Zebediah, and Zephira. All four children have multiple challenges that include amputations, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, a severed spinal cord, and one with incontinence. All have multiple learning challenges as well and have been homeschooled by Lisa over the years. During an online Zoom call we recently held with Paul Gornell in UL Pillar 1, he received a word of knowledge that they were in dire need of a vehicle. Our hearts leapt because we knew how true that word was, being their vehicle, a 2001 Aztec, already had 200,000+ miles and is over twenty years old. They have a desperate need to find such a vehicle to transport their entire family plus medical equipment. They also face costly house repairs such as needing central heat/air and the extensive damage to their ceilings and floors. Through it all, they have remained faithful to each other and God, as a testimony of Christ to their community. I cannot express how thankful I am that we as a family can take this opportunity and pour into one of our own and be a testimony of God’s grace and prosperity!
