Dear Friends and Family -
Our Goal is to raise $15,000 to feed the children of Oasis for the entire month of September 2018. 100% of the money raised will go directly to feed the children in the Oasis After School Academy. I will personally arrange the purchase and distribution of the food with the help of the Full-Time Kitchen Staff at Oasis. Please ask your employers if they can match your donation. The Donation will be made in loving Memory of Connor Donohue.
Oasis-A Haven for Women and Children's After School Academy serves 60 teens and 110 children from the surrounding schools in the Paterson area. These children and teens go to Oasis after school for a nurturing and safe environment which includes a nutritious meal, tutoring help with their homework as well as stimulating STEAM programs and outdoor activities.
When working parents pick up their children between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm the children of Oasis have been fed, completed their homework and have had a variety of both physical and mental activities.
The overall mission of Oasis is to change the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty through compassionate programs designed to feed, clothe, educate and empower women and children in need.
