Naivasha, Kenya 2016 Mission Trip

I am working to go back to Naivasha, Kenya with Panua Partners in Hope.  The Panua program works with OVCs (orphans and vulnerable youth) and their younger siblings.  Over the course of the three-year program the youth work with a local mentor and local Panua staff who help guide them through healing, life skills and vocational training as they move from a place of hopelessness to self-sustainability.  

Three years ago, at the beginning of their journey, I sat in a church in Naivasha's largest slum and listened to the countless stories of these youth.  Stories of fear, doubt and hopelessness.  I can't wait to go back and celebrate the joys, milestones, and successes of these same youth!  I can't wait to visit their homes and businesses and watch them graduate!

On this trip we will meet with the current class which will graduate from the program this fall.  We will also work with the local staff and meet many of the potential candidates for the incoming class of 2017.   Please join me on this transformational journey of love and hope.
