Help Ketut save her home
Donation protected
My beautiful Balinese friend Ketut is about to lose her home.
Like many over in Bali, she and her family have been hit hard by the devastating effects of the pandemic.
Ketut has looked after our children for many years whenever we visit Bali. She is such a kind-hearted soul and my heart breaks for her during this time. She has already suffered so much, also losing her 8 year old child a few years ago to a mystery illness and no access to proper medical services. Despite this horrific loss, she is always smiling and brings such joy and love to those that know her.
Ketut’s only source of income was nannying for international tourists. The fishing company her husband worked for also closed down many months ago, leaving the family with no income at all. No money to feed and cloth their children, nor any of the other basics we all need to survive this terrible time in the world.
She is now in danger of losing her home, as her landlord is demanding they pay 12 months rent in advance or vacate the property. She must pay 35 million rupiah by October 25 or risk becoming homeless.
Since March I have been sending Ketut small donations and food packages to help her feed her family. Being the beautiful soul that she is, she has often used the funding and supplies to also feed others in her village, as well as her own family. She has nothing, yet she feels compelled to share what little she has with those around her.
Please help me help Ketut! It would make me so happy to know she has the security of her home for the next 12 months, as it is unlikely international visitors will be returning to Bali any time soon.
All donations will be very much appreciated, however small.
If we can help her raise $3500 Australia Dollars, that will secure her home for the next year. Anything above and beyond that would be a wonderful bonus and help Ketut, her family and her village, to survive this trying time
Thank you
