- Hello, my name is Jim Bernhardt. I never thought that I would be in this position. I am here today praying for a miracle. I recently lost both of my parents to Covid. I then contracted it. It was then passed on to my children’s mother. The domino effect then hit my two oldest children! I had to take a lengthy time away from work to take care of everything/everyone which resulted in me losing my job. I had just gotten back on my feet after being forced out of my previous job due to downsizing. I was unable to make any mortgage payments due to the lapse of a steady income. My home is in forbearance which ends Nov. 10. I am now way behind on every bill! I have sold everything that I could just to keep food on the table. This is our dream home. The Lord led us here with many signs. Rainbows, etc. My youngest son was born in my bedroom! This is the only home my children have ever known. My children are my entire world. I can’t imagine them growing up anywhere else. I can’t afford to get their dental needs taken care of due to a lack of insurance that was lost ! I am just absolutely crushed and embarrassed not being able to provide for them like I always have! I always been in the position of donating to charities my entire life, but now the shoe seems to be on the other foot. The money will be spent on getting my mortgage, car payments, etc. back on track. Putting food on the table and getting some of those cavities taken care of before they get worse! If they repossess my cars I will be unable to get my children to school or to a new job that God willing, I’ll be able to find soon! I am praying, begging, pleading that you can help me please save my family! I would be incredibly grateful for any and all support!
