Holding CPS accountable & getting our kids back

We are a married couple with 5 kids. We originally had Cps in our home on false accusations a few years ago. When I had concerns of sexual abuse, they repeatedly ignored it. I got the perpetrator out of the house once it was discovered as fact. Did all that I was told by CPS. 2019, Tried to keep the cycle from being repeated and they threaten to take them away instead of helping. They refused to help the older kids and refused to keep the 2 youngest children safe. As a couple, we searched for families for open adoption for the 2 youngest ones because it was the only way to keep them safe and to have all the kids heal. The 2nd oldest child wanted a clean conscience and due to violence from the other child a 911 call had to be made. Cps came in the home, did not do a thorough investigation, lied and twisted everything that was said and I can prove it. I have a lot to back up our claims. She also lied several times under oath. Cps still refuses to give us back our children and are grasping at straws not to give them back. Due to them being wrongfully taken out of our home, they take almost half of his paycheck to pay for child support. Our parents helped us with what little they had to repaint our house for the kids due to PTSD triggers and because of the $1,664 they take every month, we could lose our home because of it. We are trying to get our kids back and feel like they’re causing us to be homeless in the future due to wanting as much money as they do. They went with a higher paycheck but when winter comes, it’s a lot lower due to the job that he does, the hours are less. The money will go to Vince Davis who is a well known attorney that is willing to fight against CPS and help us return our children and hold CPS accountable. They refuse to acknowledge sexual abuse and continue to dismiss it. They continue to withhold our children from us. If they would have taken things seriously, we wouldn’t have felt the need to give up our youngest boys and our 2 older children would be here not in foster care because of a dishonest overzealous caseworker. I, Shauna Rettig, the mother of the children is creating this fundraiser. My husband and I hate asking for help,with money especially. We just want our children back. Life is so empty without them. We would be eternally grateful for any help. We just want our family back. CPS wronged our family and broke it up because they couldn’t be honest, helpful or abiding by the laws. Yes, that’s how much it really costs for a good attorney who will fight for what’s right. We realize times are tough so anything no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
