Help Me Represent New Zealand at the 24hr World Championships in France

I’m incredibly honoured to be selected as the top qualifier for the New Zealand 24hr Track Running Team for the upcoming World Championships in Albi, France.

Running is my passion — it fuels me, drives me, and gives me purpose. But unfortunately, passion doesn’t pay the bills. There is no financial support from Athletics NZ, and the costs of international travel, accommodation, and competition are significant. After already funding trips to South Africa, Taiwan, and the USA, I now need to ask for support to continue chasing this dream.

This isn’t an easy ask, especially in challenging times. But I believe in transparency, and I believe in the power of community.

I currently hold the New Zealand Age Group Records for both the 6hr and 12hr events, and in Albi, I’ll be going after the 24hr record — a goal I’ve trained tirelessly for. This is also a chance for redemption after my last performance at the World Championships, and I’m ready to give it absolutely everything.

Wearing the coveted black singlet is one of the greatest honors. I run for those who can’t. I run for my country. And I run knowing each opportunity may be the last.
