<div>I have been selected to represent New Zealand at the upcoming Asia Oceania 24-Hour Running Championships in Japan — an honour I hold with immense pride.

<div>To pull on the black singlet, to race for my country, and to represent all the great New Zealand athletes who have come before me is something I never take lightly. Competing internationally is a privilege, but one that comes at a significant personal cost.

<div>About the Event
</div>

</div>
<div>The 24-Hour Running Championships test physical endurance, mental resilience, and strategic racing over an entire day. Athletes aim to cover the greatest possible distance within 24 hours, pushing the limits of human performance.
</div>

</div>
<div>This championship brings together the best ultra-distance runners from across the Asia Oceania region, and I am proud to be among those selected to compete.
</div>

<div>Unlike many international sporting events, this championship is entirely self-funded. All costs associated with representing New Zealand must be covered by the athlete, including:
