On August 29, I (David Brush) will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most chin-ups completed in 24 hours. Four years ago, I set the record with 6,757 reps, and I am now going back for another attempt with the goal of completing 7,480 reps.
Just like four years ago, I want to use this opportunity to raise money for a cause that means the world to me: Parkinson’s research. My grandfather, Donald Hess, battled Parkinson’s later in his life, and I’m proud to once again support the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in his honor.
My goal is to raise $1 for every chin-up I need to complete, for a total of $7,480. Every donation makes a difference and hopefully brings us one step closer to finding a cure.
Thank you so much for your support.
