24hr Challenge for Cruse and Sunbury Skiff & Punting Club

Donation protected
We are challenging ourselves to skiff non-stop for 24 hours around Desborough Island on the River Thames! In aid of Cruse Bereavement Support's local branch, Surrey North and Sunbury Skiff & Putting Clubs' blade maintenance and storage.

Starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 24th, we will row traditional Thames skiffs in relay laps around the Island until 5 p.m. on Saturday 25th, the next day.

Sunbury Skiff & Punting Club (SSPC) was founded in 2010 as a non-profit sports club and is the youngest club in the Skiff Racing Association. Donating will help an enthusiastic sports club of 30 members continue racing, training, and skiffing.

Cruse supports people through one of the most painful times in life – with bereavement support, information and campaigning. The Local branch, Surrey North, has 60 Bereavement Volunteers, and donations enable them to train more.

Please support us by sponsoring us either per lap, with a one-off donation, or by coming and cheering us on. :-)
