24h du Bois de la Cambre - Solo
Donation protected
My stupid challenge - Ride around the Bois de la Cambre in Brussels for 24 hours non-stop (from friday 8 september at 6pm to saturday 9 september at 6pm)
What's the point?
To raise as much money as possible for the Terre-en-Vue association, which does a lot of work buying up and making available land for agroecological projects in Belgium (among other things), check out their website - https://terre-en-vue.be/presentation/article/mission.
In concrete terms, Terre-en-Vue works to
1) Facilitate access to land in Belgium for farmers with agro-ecological projects
protect land from speculation through collective, citizen-based ownership and management of land as a common asset.
2) Preserving the environment and life by supporting sustainable agricultural projects
cultivate solidarity between farmers, citizens and the land to meet everyone's needs, while respecting each person's autonomy.
3) Contribute to revitalizing the rural economy by supporting diversified agricultural projects and participating in short circuits and direct sales.
4) Empowering citizens, including farmers, to take action in their own territories, with a popular education approach and a view to land democracy.
I'd like to thank you for your support: every euro donated to the fund will help me not go insane on these 240 identical laps...
