Help Get Jess a van!

Hi everyone! I am fundraising for a dear friend of mine, Jessica Mayhew. Jess is a single mother of three, currently. She has two adorable little girls that she adopted from our local foster care system, as well as the SWEETEST little 1 year old boy that she is fostering. Jess has always relied on her trusty Honda Odyssey to get to every parent visit, doctors appointment, and event she has needed to. Yesterday, however, her van broke down past the point of repair. This mama needs a new ride! If you have ever met Jess, you have undoubtedly received some act of kindness from her (hello, she’s your classic enneagram 2!) While she works hard at her job to provide for these kiddos, Jess is not able to purchase a van without the help of community. As a follower of Jesus, I believe it’s our joy and responsibility to help pool our resources and provide for those in need, as we see practiced by the early church in the book of Acts. Jess is hoping to buy a reliable minivan with whatever can be raised - my goal is $10,000. Can you help this foster mom out? I know we are not all called to do foster care - but I believe this is an amazing way we can step up and support someone who has been called to care for these children.
