Hank the Amputee Pup

My big, hairy, goofy and beyond loveable nephew Hank has been recently diagnosed with bone cancer.  It has been a very painful few weeks for this sweet boy with some of the bone deteriorating very quickly.

While he looks intimidating he is the sweetest dog I have ever met, even sweeter than my own pup (which is hard to say).   He is always happy to see and kiss new faces and cannot get enough time playing with his dog friends.

Luckily he was diagnosed early and his parents and doctors are confident that he can recover and live a normal life again.   Hank will be scheduled for an amputation of his front leg in the coming weeks.  We know the cost of his surgery and recovery is going to be great and are hoping to be able to raise some money to make the cost less painful.
