<div>Hola a todos, me llamo Benjamín Pérez Jr., y soy el sobreviviente de una hermosa madre, una esposa increíble, una hermana inseparable y mi mejor amiga, Marta Pérez.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hello everyone, my name is Benjamin Perez Jr, I'm the survivor of a beautiful mother, an amazing wife, an inseparable sister, and my best friend, Marta Perez.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Marta was a woman who everyone knew as kind, compassionate, warm, loving, positive... I could go on and on with the amount of words that could describe how amazing my mother was. Marta loved spending time with family and friends doing things such as karaoke, watching movies, playing cards or Loteria!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Marta's battle with cancer started in roughly 2006 when she was diagnosed with melanoma in one of her eyes. Unfortunately this tumour was malignant, resulting in the loss of one of her eyes. There was a long period of happy cancer-free living until 2022, when it was re-discovered in her gallbladder. Since then, she had been in and out of the hospital, never showing weakness, taking every bit of news with a brave face, even when faced with the news no one ever wants to hear. Between 2022 and 2024, she went through many chemo sessions, radiation therapy, and other ongoing appointments. Finally in late September of 2024 we received the news we all knew was coming, but never wanted to hear, 18 months. Eighteen months was the time frame she was given after being diagnosed most recently with cholangiocarcinoma. Throughout this time, she went to various more appointments for more chemo sessions, and eventually, infusion appointments as her health started to decline.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Marta eventually was sent home to spend her final days in early March of 2025, where she was able to eventually pass away peacefully surrounded by numerous loved ones on March 21st, 2025. She leaves behind her husband, her parents, her sister, and 3 children. May she rest in eternal peace.

</div>

<div>-I'll miss you forever mom,

</div>

</div>

<div>On the morning of 11-2-2021, Derrick was involved in a terrible accident involving one of the horses. By the grace of God, he was able to call Ashlee as she had just left the house for work and rushed back home to find him. He was rushed by EMS to McLaren for head and neck trauma, and shortly after, transferred to the trauma team at St. Joe's. At this time we know he has a fractured neck, multiple broken facial bones, broken orbital socket and excessive swelling. Derrick will most likely be undergoing facial reconstructive surgery, but the swelling needs to come down before the official decision can be made.
</div>

<div>At this time, the family is unsure what the time frame of surgery, release date, recovery time, etc will be, but we do know a minimum of 6 months with the neck fracture and facial injustices he sustained along with physical therapy.
</div>

<div>As many know people know, Derrick and Ashlee run a ranch that has many horses, including 17 rescue horses whom are residents of Undivided Ranch. Derrick will not be able to work for quite some time. Although Ashlee is working full time, she cannot handle all the bills and maintain feeding all the horses on just her income while Derrick recovers from the injuries he has sustained. This GoFund me is being set up in hopes of being able to help keep the bills paid, and all the horses fed during this time. With winter upon us, the horses will require more hay and that means added costs. For the winter months Nov-March the horses will need 1500 bales of hay and the cost will be $9,000.00
</div>

<div>If we could get 17 sponsors to sponsor a horse for the winter, that would be $530 per sponsor and that would eliminate the cost of feeding the horses during the recovery time. That would take a huge financial impact off their shoulders and allow Derrick and Ashlee to focus on his recovery to properly heal and resume his passion.
</div>

<div>If you are able to help in any way, please do so and help alleviate some of the financial burden they will occur. Along with needing donations, they need all the prayers they can on Derrick making a full recovery. We all know how powerful prayer can be, so please send as many prayers as we possibly can get and help him on his road to recovery!
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Thank you to everyone who has stepped in and is helping with the ranch duties as well. Derrick and Ashlee have amazing people surrounding them, and one big family everyone has become ❤
</div>

<div>If you would like to help in other ways, please feel free to reach out to me.

Financial help with Derrick Hunt's Recovery

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Stanton Robert Engle at only 37 years old. <br /><br />Stanton leaves behind his loving wife Emily, and his 2 daughters Avery (3) and Kingsley (1). This is a very devastating loss to Emily and to all family &amp; friends of Stanton.  Stanton was a wonderful hard working man, and he loved his girls more than anything.  He will be missed dearly.<br /><br />Emily has been my best friend, and like a sister to me for the last 20 years. To watch her go through such a tragic loss leaves me with incredible heartbreak, and the need to help her get through this in any and every way possible. <br /><br />We have started a fund to help Emily with medical expenses, along with living expenses as Stanton was the provider for the family financially.  These funds will help out tremendously, while they try to adjust to life without Stanton.  Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.<br /><br />It is in these times of loss and sadness when people come together to support the ones we care for.  Please keep Emily, Avery, Kingsley and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Support for Emily after loss of husband

Beth Sondgerath was diagnosed with lung cancer just about 12 months ago.  Since that time, she has been vigorously fighting this horrible disease with her daughter Dawn and Dawn's wife Lea by her side.  There have been numerous doctor appointments and hospital stays  in what sometimes seemed like one set back after another.  <br /><br />Thanksgiving weekend, Beth fell in her apartment and suffered a brain bleed which resulted in emergency surgery.  Beth has not regained consciousness since the surgery.  And Dawn and Lea have remained bedside and heartbroken.<br /><br />So many of us know and love both Dawn and Lea and ask the question "What can we do to help?"  There have been a multitude of expenses incurred over the past year which have caused Dawn and Lea great stress and many sleepless nights.  As they are trying to determine how to manage this final upcoming expense, it occurred to me that THIS is how we can help.<br /><br />Funds donated will go directly to Dawn to manage as needed.  <br /><br />Thanks in advance for anything you are able to do to help our dear friends, Dawn and Lea.

My big, hairy, goofy and beyond loveable nephew Hank has been recently diagnosed with bone cancer.  It has been a very painful few weeks for this sweet boy with some of the bone deteriorating very quickly.<br /><br />While he looks intimidating he is the sweetest dog I have ever met, even sweeter than my own pup (which is hard to say).   He is always happy to see and kiss new faces and cannot get enough time playing with his dog friends.<br /><br />Luckily he was diagnosed early and his parents and doctors are confident that he can recover and live a normal life again.   Hank will be scheduled for an amputation of his front leg in the coming weeks.  We know the cost of his surgery and recovery is going to be great and are hoping to be able to raise some money to make the cost less painful.<br /><br />Any donations are beyond appreciated and every penny helps Hank get back to his goofy, happy self.
