East Grinstead Community Bonfire

East Grinstead Community Bonfire was formed on May 1st 2022 with the aim of bringing the traditions of Sussex Bonfire to our Town.

 EGCB Members will be organising a torchlight procession on the 21st October 2023. This will include groups of the towns organisations, music groups not to mention Sussex drumming groups as well as Sussex Bonfire Societies in their costumes.

To do this we fundraise throughout the year at various events to support our community, whilst trying to raise the vital £8,000 - £10,000 required to safely run the event.

Our plans are progressing really well, and we have already raised £6,000 of our total, but we now need a final push to raise the final £2,000 to reach our goal.

To close in on our target we appeal to the residents of East Grinstead to support this community event run by the town for the town.

If every resident of our town donated just £1 we would easily reach our target.
