The House: Raising Funds for LGBTQIA Migrant House

Hello Friends and Family, we are raising funds to help establish an LGBTQIA migrant home called the House.
The House is a safe home located in Coachella Valley, California for LGBTQIA people fleeing persecution from family, neighbors, religious communities and anti-LGBTQIA laws and organizations around the world. The House is a space for individuals to begin their new lives in the United States by providing support during the process.
The House provides housing and meals for our residents. We also offer support from a team of volunteers for; mental and physical health screenings and check ups, transportation needs, clothing and toiletries and much more. Through this network, we seek to create a community to up lift our brothers and sisters during their journey to safety.
We have already housed three individuals in our current home and are seeking to expand our place in order to help on a larger scale. By offering the support we have, these three individuals have created their own paths and are now living in places like Los Angeles and New York City. With your donations we can help more people and have a greater effect on our LGBTQIA community, both nationally and globally.
The donations we are asking for will go to rental assistance for 6 months and will help us launch this project. We need these $12,000 to start! This money will help us secure the house, buy furniture and transport the first group of people into the house.
