Haize’s Surgery & Rehabilitation
Donation protected
Hey y’all, as we all know, Haize is such a joy to the Hinton family! She is cute, full of so much life, and so smart!
When Haize was born, she suffered a stroke that has been life changing. She’s now almost 5 years old and has beat SO MANY ODDS! Even with a cerebral palsy diagnosis, she is able to run and play and enjoy things that other kids her age are able to do! In the last year though, she’s been having more and more seizures and the medical staff at Blair Batson in Jackson, MS has decided that brain surgery is the best next step. The hospital best suited for this type surgery is Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX.
The seizures have become so severe but this surgery is intended to remove the dead part of her brain that is causing the seizures. The outcome of the surgery is hopefully that the seizures will subside, but there are lots of unknown outcomes with this surgery as well.
Haize has been a trooper from the beginning and we fully trust that God will restore her mobility and quality of life, but the road to recovery will be long. The money raised through this platform will go to help the Hinton family pay for testing and surgery costs, living expenses while in Texas, and rehabilitation efforts needed afterward. Any money that is leftover will be donated to further research at Blair Batson to help future families brave the roads that this family has travelled.
We appreciate any donation, big or small, and please know that nothing goes unseen!
