As we used our existing campaign to facilitate our emergency security needs we are going to do a stretch goal to get us all the way funded and pay for half of the security upgrades so we can have the full amount to use for our expansion! Yall are amazing!!
Update;
Hello all you wonderful people! Thank you so much for all your help. Here is the update and what we are looking at in the next few months.
We have found the two peices of property. One is a rental and it is allowing us to stay within code as we grow, the second is a beautiful peice of property on our road with a 70% complete earth ship on it, this will allow us to grow and keep in step with our duty to the planet. The owners are going to work with us so even of we don't make our goal we should be able to get rolling with the property.
We also just received news that we are allowed to start doing the recycling for our whole county! Super excited to get that going!
Our goal amount is staying the same and we are super excited to say we will be getting alot more than we thought with this amount! Help us reach our goal and get more queer folk up here thriving!

Our little collective is nestled into the Wet Mountain Valley near Westcliffe Colorado.
We have Alpaca, Chickens, Ducks, Sheep, Dogs, Cats and Goats!
We are getting ready to grow even more!
Phase one of our expansion was fully funded and is now all set up and ready for us to move forward.
We have spent the last few months learning exactly what we need to do to grow. We have been looking at every angle because as you may or may not be aware the fact that we are Trans folks brings with it a massive amount of scrutiny and hate, so in order for us to thrive we have to stay a few steps in front of the bigots and 10 steps above what cis folks need to do to stay in compliance with zoning regulations and things of that nature.
Lucky for us Custer County and the town of Westcliffe are really great to work with.
We have been coordinating with folks from almost every department, figuring out what the best course for us is so all these bigoted complaints fall to the wayside and we grow without any setbacks.
To that end we have decided that for phase two we need to purchase two additional undeveloped 35 acre plots of land. This will allow us to dig two additional wells and grow our herds without worrying about our current well.
It will also give us two additional building sites so we can expand our housing without straining our sewer and solar systems. All this will give us thd ability to grow without ruffling feathers and put us above the petty acts of trolls and doxxing, ensuring a safe, stable environment for folks up here, which is first and foremost in our mind at all times.
The price of undeveloped land here in the valley, where we are hoping to buy, trends around 30-60 thousand a plot, with your help we will be able to purchase two plots, then make improvements and get the ball rolling on our expansion.
The need for stable housing in the trans community has never been greater.
It is only going to get worse with the several looming housing crisis on the horizon.
