Uganda Volunteering Trip

Hi, my name is Hope, and I am a newly qualified nurse with a passion for making a real difference to people's lives. This year, I have been given an incredible opportunity to travel to Uganda with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to help set up a clinic and provide essential medical support to communities in need.

Unfortunately, the cost of the trip is significant, and as a newly qualified nurse, I simply cannot afford to fund it on my own. Every aspect of the journey — from the flights to accommodation (totalling over £2,000) — must be paid for out of my pocket, and that is why I am asking for your help.

This is a great opportunity to bring healthcare to people who desperately need it. We will be offering medical care, health education, and support to individuals and families who would otherwise go without. Your donation, no matter how small, will directly contribute to improving lives and helping us reach some of the most under-served communities.

I have recently taken up running and to demonstrate my commitment, I have set myself a challenge to run four 5km Parkruns on consecutive weekends during July.
