Christmas Help

Hi everyone! As you know my name is Amanda. I am a single mom of 4 amazing humans. Some of you may know the severe challenges we have faced this year. Some court issues, pretty severe mental health challenges, my many many car issues, and my dogs cancer scare, and all the fun things that come from being a single parent. All to which leads me here. I have never been more embarrassed to ask for help, but here I am. Putting it all out for the world to see. As most of you know, I work in the kitchen at Wellesley middle school as the elementary school cook. I work most weeks 45+ hours, living pay check to pay check. Figuring out which bills can wait and which need to paid now. With inflation being as horrendous as it is, and wages not matching what’s happening in the world, I am really struggling. I tried to apply for help through my company, but was unsuccessful. With tears in my eyes from the feelings of failure, depression, and embarrassment, I am asking for help from my village to help provide my kids some sort of Christmas. Without help, I can’t do it. The thought of my kids waking up to nothing has destroyed my soul. Any help would be appreciated more then anyone even understands.
