I know the feeling of food- insecurities all to well. My grandmother tried her best to provide however, my siblings and I always lacked food. I remember eating bread and butter to fight the hunger pains. My suffering and the suffering of others is the reason Hope for the Hungry exist.
I am fundraising to help fight hunger. We are in need of a building, vehicle and equipment. These tangible items are vital for transporting food and executing the mission.
Our mission is to serve with compassion, feed the body and mind, and be an impact through education.
Hope for the Hungry is here to make a difference in the South Bend/Michiana community by providing proper food-handling training, a food pantry, and a soup kitchen.
