Charity Cycle
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Paddy Kelleher and I am cycling a 235km charity cycle from my home town Ballyvourney, Co. Cork to my mother’s birthplace, Athy, Co. Kildare on Saturday the 25th of July 2020. Having had personal health issues in the past myself I really want to give something to a very special person and a wonderful school close to my heart. My first cousin, Billy Harrington who is 16 years old and has down syndrome attends St. Laserian’s School Carlow. St. Laserian’s Special School is a mixed school which caters for students aged 4-18. The students present with learning difficulties in the range of Mild, Moderate, Severe and Profound General Learning Disability. Many of the school’s educational programmes involve getting out and about and building links with people and places in the local environment and community. To this end they are currently raising funds for a Transporter (nine-seater vehicle). Every little helps and all donations will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you all so much for all your help and generosity.
Cheers,
Paddy
