Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my family. The morning of Tuesday June 22,2020 my family’s life took a unexpected turn for the worse, which meant me and my father Peter Scott didn’t know what would happen. My mother Tina Scott was sent to the hospital due to what they believed to be blood clots in a major artery. They ended up find 4 blood clots, one in her left calf, one behind her right knee, one in her left lung and one in her one of her arteries. They send her to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, the following day we were told she would have to have surgery to have both her legs amputated above the knee. On Thursday June 24, 2020 she had both legs amputated and is now in recovery. We have been told that she would be bed and wheelchair bound for the rest of her life. Our current housing situation will not be suitable for my mother anymore. We are living in a 700sq ft apartment, that is already snug to live in with the 3 of us. The money raised will go to helping us find a new home that is more suitable for my mom and any of the equipment that is required to make her everyday life easier.
