Assalamu alaikum my name is Mr Suhayl Al-sokary, Alhamdulillah I am the founder of YEMAID. I have been doing charity in Yemen for many years now.
FirstIy I hope this finds you well and in good health.
Yemen is a country very dear to my heart, and watching it crumble has been truly painful. It is our duty as Muslims and as a fellow human beings to help those in need. You can see some of our work on our instgram page @shreda_yemen
We are an instagram based charity! So we run solely on the generous donations of our beautiful viewers!
As many of you are well aware that Yemen has the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people. some 80 per cent of the population in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children. Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country's children.
Now with Covid things will only get worse if we don’t do something about it.
We are collecting donations for many projects such as:
- Food and water projects
- Medication
- Expensive unaffordable operations
- Winter blankets, pillows and mattresses
- Permanent water Tank installation
- Slaughter and meat distribution (aqiqa, qurbanis etc)
- Building, refurbishing and extending Mosques
- Eid clothes distribution
- Ramadan food parcels
- Cash distributions to widows and orphans
- WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF ZAKAT ILLEGIBLE FAMILIES SO ALL ZAKAT IS ACCEPTED
and every donation will help. Every little helps so please donate whatever you can to help Inshaa’Allah May Allah reward you immensely in this world and the next. Ameen.
Remember: Our Prophet Muhammad SAW said. “Do not show lethargy or negligence in giving alms and charity till your last breath.” -Muhammad, upon him be peace (Bukhari and Muslim).
