Cycle for Equality

Being in New York during the Pandemic has been an obstacle, but I’ve been maintaining through my fitness programming Train 2 Flex Fitness. I told my parents an influencer, Robert Doran, completed over 1300 miles for coffee & he inspired me to want to begin cycling. They helped me buy a road bike & after my first few rides we joked about me biking back home to South Carolina from New York. Due to the lack of equality in our nation, I am committing to riding over 800+ miles in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut all on a bicycle. This will begin annually on August 1st of each year. It not only puts my body & mind to the test, but it’s hopefully going to spread awareness on the racial inequality in our country. I want to inspire others to be powerful by using their bodies as a vessel. This ride will be for change & equality. This is how I will represent my fellow brothers & sisters in this fight. Cycle for Equality is an opportunity to represent this cause in a peaceful & positive way. Proceeds will be donated to the Boys Girls Club Shaw Unit in Charleston, SC where I’m from. They educate, support & nurture many young Black Americans to break the stigma. This place was apart of my foundation as a kid. I will be riding on this journey for those who’ve fallen, their families, our communities & our future. I can use any help available; I understand that we are in difficult times so it may be out of your means to make a financial donation. You can ride with me, share a post, or share this to others. Maybe this will continue to bring exposure to this cause.
