Baby Basso Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On April 27th, Bethany was rushed from Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, MI to St. Mary's in Duluth, MN. After some heavy bleeding and being only 28 weeks pregnant, it was discovered that her water had broken and delivery was imminent. The doctors were hoping to stall delivery until Baby Vera was 34 weeks. It was a rollercoaster of a few weeks, but she did, successfully, make 1 day shy of 30 weeks. Bethany delivered a healthy 2-pound baby girl on May 11 via C-section. Due to her surgery and the baby only being 30 weeks, an extended stay in Duluth is necessary. Vera Bea will need at least 6 weeks in the NICU and Mamma will have to stay close by. Nick will be able to travel back and forth, however the gas, lodging, and medical expenses are beyond their means at this time. Bethany has been out of work and Nick has had to take a temporary leave of absence to be present in Duluth. If you have anything you can give, it would be GREATLY appreciated to help cover these unforeseen expenses. And, of course, PLEASE keep praying for Mom's recovery and that Vera Bea continues to grow and thrive so she can go home soon! Thank you!
