Family Support For Dave Shackleton

With great love, comes great loss. Some know, some do not. My father David Shackleton has been battling pancreatic cancer since the fall of 2014. He has fought it four different times since then. He has fought not for himself, but for his family. He fought hard each and every time so we could have more time with him. These six years have been an absolute blessing to all of us. The time is near and he is now placed on hospice at home to be comfortable in his final months. My mother, Teresa has been home caring for him. She does not want to leave his side, who could blame her? My parents have given to us kids time and time again, never asking anything in return besides our happiness and well being. It is now my turn to ask for them, so Teresa can continue to stay home from work to care for him. This will relieve the stress on her for now and hopefully give Dave some piece of mind for her as well. All he worries about now is how she will be.
